Hi avid blog viewers,
Flipping 'eck indeed. I can tell its coming to the end of the week, energy levels are in my trainers,.......well actually I wish there was energy in them then they could do all the work.
I argued, again, with myself, and all those visions and encouraging words from every one, nagging sister, Vic.2, happy neighbour, those still quiet voices yelling at me to get out of bed!
I didn't do anything yesterday, I was working and son was home, so I didn't fancy 'jigging about' in my kitchen as beligan bun so thoughtfully said.
I forced myself to jog all the way to turn around lamppost, in fact it felt like I was running with lampposts as legs, they are so stiff and hurting. The energy is just not there, what nagging sister is going to think tomorrow I don't know.
Do you know how hard it is to do something, ok, so its good for you, but doing something that hurts you, that zaps your energy, that makes you talk to yourself in public! Hmmm? Well? If the answers no, then come out with me, if only to see the pained expression on my face, then you will have some idea.
I was timing the whole jog today, but daughter rang me, mother of the stubborn one, so of course I walked as I talked (multi tasking, eh, clever), and she said 'Stop heavy breathing down the phone!'
After she put the phone down I checked to see if stopwatch still showing and picked up the pace again, it was 12 minutes something and when I saw that I then noticed that I was just passing 12 minute lamppost. 'Oh good' I thought to myself, or did I say that out loud, who knows 'Oh good, I'm on time'
This gave me renewed energy, well ok, I am kidding myself, but it did perk me up a bit and I jogged for the rest of the way home, (did I mention to you that I did walk a few lampposts, eh, well don't worry about that)I checked the stop watch after I sprinted the last bit (darn nagging sister for making me always do that last bit a sprint) and I looked, 12:41, 'Flipping 'eck' I had pushed the stop button as I put call down on daughter and forgot to start it again!
Justice as nagging sister would say, after we.......erm........forgot to look at nagging sisters second laps. But I reckon I did it in 15 minutes or so.
