How are you all on this bright beautiful morning!......is what I was going to write soon after I got back in to my house, but things never happen the way that I want.
So its a bit chilly out now and grey and its early evening and I'm only just writing up today's blog!
But it was a beautiful start to the day, the sun was out the birds tweeting, and I had another Victim for nagging sister to abuse.....I mean to encourage.
My strategy is that there will be a big group of us and nagging sister won't be able to keep an eye on all of us.
The new victim has been with us before, some of you may remember last time she came with us she carried her hand bag on her shoulder the whole way around the park, not only that but for someone who has never been jogging she jogged the whole way round too.
So you wont be too surprised to know that new victim did it again.!! What might surprise you is that I too jogged the whole way round, but this time with an encouraging "go on old girl you can do it" from Vic.2, and nagging sister! I think the new victim would have joined in, but she was like me, if she even stopped to think about anything else but getting to the end of this jog the she wouldn't get going again.
I did stop briefly (and it really was very briefly, three walking paces before I started back jogging) three quarters of the way round, and nagging sister did manage to find the nagging tone again "Come on don't stop, nearly there, look, there's the cars" and Vic.2 even gave me a huge smiley smileface and the thumbs up sign. To be sure, I don't think she could actually talk either.
It was a small triumph for all three of us to get round the whole park, (thats not including nagging sister of course, we know she goes round twice) non stop jogging mode, Ok, so we were lapped a couple of times by the super fit joggers, ok, so we fell on to the car instead of doing press ups on the railings, and we were speechless for a good few minuets, but we did it. We jogged the whole way round!!
Our time for this jog was amazing too, we did it in 15:58 mins. To say we were impressed with our time is putting it mildly.
Of course nagging sister had to go around again, (the show off) while we all dived on the bottle of chilled water, still leaving the stopwatch on my mobile running, so we can gauge nagging sisters second mile.
But much to our amusement, and, (rather disappointingly) nonchalant "oh well" from nagging sister, I had accidentally turned it off so I could read a text message I had received.
But like good friends and loving sister that we are we agreed that nagging sister probably was as fast as she was last week!
Or was she!!! wink wink girls!
And Just because I love my sister so much, here is another beautiful picture of her, taken by Vic.2 after nagging sister completed her second lap last Monday. I dont think she knew it was being taken, even I didn't see Vic.2 snap this, he he he, so glad she did though.
